![]() | Our Mission (What we’re called to do) To worship and pray with all our hearts To welcome people into the Kingdom of God To equip people of all ages for supernatural witness and ministry wherever we go...in our homes, our schools, our jobs, our community, and our travels To send people to extend the Kingdom of God to the ends of the earth as we share God's love with the world To join with other people and churches to bring the Kingdom of God to our communities, state, nation, and world
Our Life (Who we are) A house of passionate prayer and extravagant worship where the Word of God is alive, where His Presence loves to dwell, and where the power of the Holy Spirit is never quenched A fellowship of dedicated believers from a diverse mix of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds who attract people to Jesus through our love and unity A refuge of safety, comfort, and peace for all who need healing and restoration as they discover their value and destiny and are nourished to bear spiritual fruit A family joined by spiritual destiny which purposely passes on testimonies of faith and obedience to each generation that follows, providing a heritage and foundation from which our children can be released into even greater gifts and callings A ministry to the world, where the truth of God's Word is taken to heart and, in Christ's name, healing is brought to the hurting, deliverance is brought to captives, and the power of God's Kingdom is demonstrated to all people A training center that disciples, teaches, trains, and equips people to fulfill God's call on their lives, then sends them out for purposeful work that is anointed by the Holy Spirit
Our Vision (What we are becoming)
February, 2009: In five years, by God's good grace and will, PCF is becoming a grand central station for training and equipping leaders and believers. The emphasis is on becoming strong in Spirit and on developing character that is pleasing to the Father. There will be a strong and unified spirit among the leaders of the church and relationships among all of the members is noticeably warm and loving. There is a noticeable ethnic diversity among the members. Worship and prayer will expand as new expressions emerge and older fountains are unearthed. There will be a sense of lighthouse and gate keeping destiny reached, although on this side of heaven there will always be an urge for more. There is a multi-session orientation for new church members and one for new believers. There is training for worship team members and for worship leaders. The training consists of an orientation for new team members and ongoing, regular sessions where corporate intimacy with the Father and worship skills are enhanced. Prayer will reach a new height and intensity. It has been incorporated into everything we do and into most every meeting. The intercessors and watchmen are praying with diligence and are hearing from the Lord. Prayer has become more family-focused as families practice praying at home and special prayer times are attended by all age groups. A group of leaders, with their gifts and callings recognized, are being commissioned into service. There is a group of next-generation leaders and some older leaders as well who are being trained for life and future ministry. Their training is both generalized and customized; it is generalized on things that everyone needs to embrace and customized to their specific ministries. A younger team is functioning in church leadership, co-laboring with the current leaders in all aspects of church life. The current leaders are stepping into, or have stepped into, advisory roles and are actively pursuing their own next steps in God. Many PCF members are living as disciples in the truest sense. They are being trained and equipped as well as training others. There is a strong expectation for people to grow and function in ministry and that no one is too bad, too messed up, too young, or too old to be trained and eventually learn to train others. PCF will grow in its hosting and delivery of special equipping and training events. An organized series of Christian life and leader materials will be developed to supplement our training ministry. Training will extend to various expressions of ministry, including the work place and the arts, but not limited to any defining wall. We will increase partnerships with other churches and ministries and these partnerships will be a vital part of our equipping ministry. We will continue to welcome others outside of PCF to some of these events. Outreach will grow in scope and intensity. Personal ministry teams are available to members and to the community at large. New disciples will be made and equipped. Witnessing will take on various forms but will be driven by dependence on the Spirit, the Word, and the manifest power of God, all delivered in a loving manner. We have developed in our ability to provide pastoral care for others, especially the hurting, the broken and needy. An identifiable pastoral structure is in place to which we can point and to which people can be directed for healing and care.
